Central Louisiana Human Services District
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is comprised of 11 members, 1 from each of the 8 parishes comprising the District, who are appointed by their local police jury, and 3 At-Large members who are appointed by the Governor.
The eight Board members representing each parish have expertise in behavioral health (mental illness and addictive disorders) and/or developmental disabilities, fiscal affairs, or they represent law enforcement, school-based clinics, the coroner's office and/or the judicial system. The three At-Large members are a parent, consumer, or advocate for individuals with mental illness, addictive disorders, or developmental disabilities. Each Board member may serve three consecutive 3-year terms.
